Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising cornmeal
    1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1 tsp. sugar
    6 tsp. chopped onions
    1 1/4 c. milk
    1 egg
Preparation
    Mix cornmeal, flour and sugar.
    Add onions, then milk and egg. Mix well.
    Drop by spoonfuls into hot fat at 375\u00b0.
    When done, they will float.
    Put on brown paper to drain.
    Yields about 24 hush puppies.
