"Make Crackerjacks" - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. popcorn
1/2 tsp. salt
2 rounded Tbsp. white sugar
Preparation

Preheat a heavy skillet.
Add shortening.
When sizzling hot, add popcorn.
As soon as it starts to pop, add salt and sugar. Shake vigorously while corn pops so melted sugar will not burn. Empty into large bowl and add a few peanuts.
