Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. vegetable oil
3 tsp. baking powder
1 c. cream-style corn
3 eggs
1 c. grated cheese
1 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk
1 1/2 c. yellow corn meal
3 jalapeno peppers, sliced
Preparation

Mix all ingredients except cheese.
Pour 1/2 batter into hot greased pan; sprinkle with 1/2 of cheese.
Pour rest of batter over cheese.
Bake in hot oven (400\u00b0).
Just before bread browns, sprinkle with remaining cheese.
