Caramel Nut Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. butter
1/2 c. shortening
1 box light brown sugar
1 c. granulated sugar
5 large eggs
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sweet milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans or chopped black walnuts
Preparation

Cream the butter and shortening; add brown sugar a little at a time; beat well.
Add granulated sugar; beat until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
Sift together dry ingredients; add alternately with milk.
Add vanilla and nuts.
Bake in tube pan for 1 hour and 30 minutes at 325\u00b0.
