Honey Dipped Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 pieces chicken legs or breasts
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs
2 Tbsp. honey
1/3 c. milk
2 c. shortening
Preparation

Mix flour, salt and baking powder.
Beat eggs and honey.
Add to dry ingredients.
Add milk.
Wash chicken pieces.
Drain on absorbent paper.
Heat shortening in deep skillet on medium heat. Dip chicken pieces in batter, only as much as you can fry.
Brown well on both sides, frying slowly.
Turn occasionally, 15 minutes on each side.
Drain on paper towels.
Place in casserole.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
Turn occasionally while baking.
Makes 4 servings.
