Blueberry Oatmeal Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 c. quick cooking oats (uncooked)
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. margarine, softened
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/4 c. light corn syrup
    1 c. fresh berries
Preparation
    Combine first 7 ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
    Cut in margarine with pastry cutter until mixture resembles coarse meal. Combine eggs, milk and corn syrup; mix well.
    Add to the dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened.
    Fold in blueberries. Pour batter into greased and floured 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 10 minutes, or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
    Cool loaf in pan 10 minutes.
    Remove from pan and cool completely on a wire rack.
    Yields 1 loaf.
