Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. corn meal (self-rising)
1 onion, chopped
3 or 4 hot peppers, chopped
1 egg
1 small can cream-style corn
2 Tbsp. flour

Preparation

Mix together and let rise.
When ready to cook, stir, then drop into hot grease until brown and float to the top of the oil. Drain on paper towels and serve.
The dough needs to be thick. Use a small amount of milk or water to make it the right consistency.
