Tomato Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 gal. tomatoes, cooked down to 2 c. puree
    1 1/2 c. fine cracker crumbs
    2 Tbsp. minced onions
    1 1/2 tsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
    3 eggs
    3 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Mix
    all ingredients, except butter. Beat eggs well and add to mixture.
    Heat
    butter in skillet and drop in fritters by the spoonful.
    Fry to golden brown.
