Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. raw peanuts
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. white Karo syrup
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. soda
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Mix together first 3 ingredients.
    Boil 15 minutes or until peanuts start to pop.
    Mix in vanilla, soda and salt.
    Stir well. Pour onto well-greased pan or onto a piece of foil.
    When cool, break into pieces.
