Cheesey Mashed Potatoes - cooking recipe

3 c. hot mashed potatoes
1/4-1/2 tsp. onion powder
1/4-1/2 tsp. seasoning salt
1/2 c. sour cream
Velveeta cheese, sliced thin
Ritz cracker crumbs
Preparation

Mash potatoes and season to your liking.
Add the onion powder, seasoning salt, and sour cream; mix.
Put half of the potatoes in a greased baking dish, then add some cheese and cracker crumbs.
Add the rest of the potatoes, and put remaining cheese and cracker crumbs on top.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until cheese has melted and is heated through.
This can be made a day ahead, cover, and refrigerate.
Take out of refrigerator, and let sit at room temperature about a half hour before baking.
