Seafoam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. nuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 lb. brown sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1 egg white
Preparation
    Chop nuts and have vanilla ready.
    Boil brown sugar and water together until it forms a soft ball when dropped in cold water. Beat egg white until very stiff.
    Pour boiling syrup or egg white a little at a time while beating constantly.
    When getting a little stiff, add vanilla.
    Add 1 cup nuts when mixture stands alone. Drop by spoonfuls on buttered dish and let cool.
