Aunt Lee'S Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/4 c. cooking oil
    1 tsp. vinegar
    2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1 tsp. soda (baking)
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 oz. red food coloring
Preparation
    Sift flour and soda together.
    Beat eggs, sugar, oil and vinegar to eggs.
    Add flour and soda, alternately with buttermilk. Blend ingredients well.
    Then add vanilla and cake coloring. Pour batter into 3 (8-inch) cake pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Cool cake before frosting.
