Crock-Pot "Special Beef" - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. stewing beef (1-inch pieces)
    1 envelope dry onion soup
    1/2 to 1 c. dry wine
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 (4 oz.) can whole mushrooms
    1/4 c. quick cooking tapioca
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients.
    Mix well in crock-pot.
    Cover and cook on low 8 to 12 hours.
    Serve over noodles, rice or mashed potatoes.
    Serves 4 to 5.
