Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 ripe bananas, mashed
    1 c. shortening
    4 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    6 Tbsp. buttermilk
    3 c. flour
    2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Mix first 3 ingredients together well. Add vanilla and buttermilk. Sift and add the flour, sugar, soda, salt and nuts. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Makes 2 loaves.
