Mexicali Vegetable-Beef Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. lean ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 (16 oz.) can small white beans, drained and rinsed
    1 c. sliced zucchini
    1 (8 1/4 oz.) can sliced carrots
    2 (13 3/4 oz.) cans beef broth
    1 (1 1/4 oz.) pkg. Ortega taco seasoning mix
Preparation
    In large saucepan over medium heat, brown beef with onions, stirring frequently.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Bring to a boil. Cover.
    Reduce heat and simmer 1 hour.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
