Barbecued Spareribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. spareribs
    2 onions, sliced
    salt and pepper
    1 onion, chopped
    2 Tbsp. oil
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    1 c. catsup
    3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 tsp. mustard
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Place ribs in roaster and add 2 sliced onions.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Brown the 1 chopped onion in oil and add remaining ingredients.
    Simmer for 30 minutes.
    Pour sauce over ribs.
    Cover pan and cook at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    Remove cover and roast for 20 minutes longer.
    Makes 6 servings.
