Apricot Ham Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (2-inch) slice fully cooked, smoked ham
whole cloves
1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 (16 oz.) can peeled, whole apricots
Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
Remove any fat around ham slice.
Place in a shallow baking pan.
Sprinkle with sugar and stud sides with cloves.
Drain apricot syrup.
Pour 1/3 over ham.
Bake 1 hour, basting often, adding more syrup if needed.
Arrange drained apricots on top of ham and bake 15 minutes longer or until richly glazed.
Serves 6.
