Spanish Green Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium sliced onions
    1 (No. 2) can crushed tomatoes (2 1/2 c.)
    2 whole cloves
    1 bay leaf
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 diced green pepper
    2 tsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. melted margarine
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 lb. cooked green beans
Preparation
    Blend first 7 ingredients in a saucepan and simmer for 15 minutes. Remove bay leaf and cloves.
    In a large frying pan, melt margarine.
    Mix in flour. Add tomato mixture slowly, stirring constantly to prevent lumps. Cook until thickened and smooth. Add beans and heat.
