Easy Sausage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. bulk pork sausage
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 c. chopped green pepper
    2 1/2 c. water
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. uncooked long grain rice
Preparation
    Combine sausage, onion and green pepper in a skillet; cook over medium heat until sausage is browned, stirring to crumble meat.
    Drain well; set aside.
    Combine water, soup and salt in a large saucepan; bring to a boil.
    Add rice.
    Cover, reduce heat and simmer 7 minutes.
    Add sausage mixture.
    Spoon into a 2 1/2-quart casserole. Cover; bake at 375\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
    Yields 4 to 6 servings.
