Salisbury Steak With Onions And Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. Crisco oil
    4 medium onions, sliced
    3 bell peppers (red, green or yellow), cut into thin strips
    1 lb. ground beef round
    2 slices white bread, crumbled (about 1 1/4 c.)
    1 egg white
    1 tsp. salt, divided
    1/4 tsp. black pepper, divided
    1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1 c. water
    1/3 c. ketchup
    1/2 tsp. soy sauce
Preparation
    Heat Crisco oil in large (at least 12-inch) skillet on medium heat.
    Add onions and bell peppers.
    Cook and stir until tender. Remove to serving platter.
    Cover to keep warm.
