Johnny Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. butter, melted
1 egg
1 c. milk
1 c. yellow cornmeal
1 c. flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt

Preparation

Lightly mix all ingredients. Bake in a square baking pan in 350\u00b0 oven. Serve hot and cut into squares.
