Old-Timey Fruitcake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. pecans
    1 lb. candied pineapple
    1 lb. candied cherries
    4 eggs
    2 c. flour
    1 lb. dates or figs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. almond flavoring
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Chop fruit and nuts. Roll in flour. Add all ingredients together and mix. Press in a pan and bake in a slow 275\u00b0 oven until done.
