Gingerbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. oil
    1 c. molasses
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. plain flour
Preparation
    Sift flour and spices.
    Mix in large bowl sugar and oil. Continue mixing and add molasses, eggs and flour mixture.
    Add 2 teaspoons baking soda, mixed in 1/8 cup hot water.
    Beat lightly and quickly.
    Pour into greased pan.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour or until cake tester comes out clean.
