Apple Rings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
2 to 3 Tbsp. shortening
1/2 c. milk
2 c. chopped apples
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 c. water
1/2 stick margarine
Preparation

Mix flour, shortening and milk.
Roll out on a floured surface.
Sprinkle dough with cinnamon or spice.
Spread apples on dough.
Roll and slice.
Place in baking dish.
In saucepan, melt margarine.
Add sugars and water; bring to boil.
Pour over rolls. Bake until brown.
