Hearty Hamburger Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

9-inch pie crust
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
1/4 tsp. ground cumin seed
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. Italian dried herbs
1 medium onion, sliced and separated
1 1/4 c. mushrooms, sliced (fresh)
1 1/2 c. potatoes, sliced and peeled
1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
2 Tbsp. dried parsley flakes
Preparation

Combine beef with egg, salt, crumbs, cumin, garlic powder, mustard and herbs. Layer pie crust with potatoes, onion and mushrooms, leaving some mushrooms to encircle the pie.
Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
Cook a little longer if potatoes are not done.
Top with cheese and parsley when done. Return to oven to melt cheese.
