Patti'S Roast Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    1/4 c. olive oil
    4 lb. potatoes, peeled and cut into 2-inch chunks
    1 large onion, cut into eighths
    8 cloves garlic, cut in half
    1/4 to 1/2 c. hazelnuts, coarsely chopped
Preparation
    Put butter, oil, potatoes, onion and garlic into a 10 x 15-inch baking pan at least 2 inches deep.
    Spread vegetables evenly.
    Bake on bottom rack at 475\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Stir with wide spatula after 15 minutes.
