Cabbage Head Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. pork sausage
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 loaf whole wheat bread, toasted
    3 eggs
    1 medium onion
    salt, pepper, allspice and nutmeg to taste
    leaf cabbage
Preparation
    Select a large loose leaf head of cabbage, wash and take apart keeping whole.
    Keep the small center for the heart of the loaf. Parboil cabbage leaves in salt water a few minutes until it wilts. Drain in colander.
