White Lemon Fruitcake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. chopped nuts
    1 lb. white raisins
    1 lb. butter
    2 c. sugar
    4 c. cake flour
    2 oz. pure lemon flavoring
    6 eggs
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar well.
    Add eggs, beaten 1 at a time. Add flour a little at a time, then add flavoring, nuts and raisins.
    Place in a greased and floured tube pan; bake at 250\u00b0 to 275\u00b0 for 2 hours, until light brown.
    Makes a big cake.
    Good for the holidays.
