Cherry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10-inch) double pastry shell (unbaked)
    4 c. pitted cherries (fresh) or 2 cans drained cherries *
    1 c. sugar
    1/3 c. brown sugar
    1/3 c. flour or 1/4 c. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 tsp. almond extract
Preparation
    *Use about 1/2 of the juice only.
