Baked Apricots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 2 1/2 cans (28 oz.) apricots, drained
    1 (1 lb.) box brown sugar
    1 1/2 c. butter, divided
    1 (15 oz.) box Ritz crackers, crushed
Preparation
    Pour half of the butter in the bottom of casserole dish, then half the crackers, half of the apricots and half of the sugar. Repeat in layers. Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour.
