Fish Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. butter
    1 c. raw potatoes, diced
    1/2 c. diced salt pork or bacon
    1/2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. milk
    1 c. half and half cream
    2 c. flaked, cooked fish
Preparation
    Saute onion and bacon in butter and cook until soft, but not brown.
    Add potatoes and water. Cook until the potatoes are soft. Add flour.
    Cook 2 minutes and add the milk.
    Cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Add the cream and fish, then cook until hot.
