Blackberry Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. butter
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. ground cloves
    2 tsp. allspice
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    3 c. flour
    1/2 c. sour milk
    2 c. blackberries (canned or cooked)
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening.
    Add eggs and vanilla; beat.
    Add dry ingredients and milk.
    Beat, then fold in blackberries with some juice, making 2 cups.
    Pour into cake pan greased and floured.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 55 minutes.
    Insert a toothpick when it comes out clean, it is done.
