Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    5 whole eggs
    2 sq. bitter chocolate
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour, sifted
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Add melted chocolate.
    Combine milk, soda and vanilla; add to creamed mixture alternately with flour.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes in round prepared pans or 45 minutes in 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Ice with favorite chocolate icing.
