Grandma Mag'S Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. hot water
    1 c. oats
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. white sugar
    2 eggs
    1 1/3 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix hot water and oatmeal.
    Set aside.
    Mix butter, sugars and eggs.
    Add oatmeal, then dry ingredients.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes in 9 x 13-inch pan.
