Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) pie shell, baked
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    2 boxes fresh strawberries
    water
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    whipped cream
Preparation
    Spread cream cheese over a completely cooled crust.
    Top with one layer of fresh whole berries.
    Mix remainder of berries mashed with enough water to make 1 1/2 cups.
    Add sugar and cornstarch. Allow to thicken over low heat; cool and pour over cheese.
    Top with whipped cream.
