Pineapple Cake Topping - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
4 tsp. butter
1 Tbsp. plain flour or 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation

Mix all ingredients, leaving out the butter. Cook over medium heat until thick.
Add butter and stir to mix.
Spread on cooled cake.
Makes enough for two layers between and on top or on top of one long cake.
