Old-Fashioned Apple Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp. salt
6 to 7 c. sliced, pared apples
pastry for 2 crust pie
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation

Combine sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt in bowl.
Add apples, mix lightly.
Heap in pastry shell, 9-inch pie pan.
Dot with butter.
Adjust top crust and flute edges.
Cut vents.
Bake in 425\u00b0 oven for 50 to 60 minutes, until crust is browned and apples are tender.
Cool on rack.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
