Gumdrop Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    13 orange slice gumdrops
    4 eggs
    1 lb. brown sugar
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Break eggs into mixer bowl and add brown sugar.
    Beat until sugar is dissolved.
    While eggs are beating, sift flour, measure and add salt.
    Dip gumdrops into flour and snip with scissors. Continue dipping and snipping until all are cut in small pieces into the flour.
    Stir this mixture into egg mixture and stir until all flour disappears.
    Add nuts and spread into well greased 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
    Cool.
    Cut in squares with a wet knife.
