5 Pound Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. chocolate chips (about 1 1/2 pkg. or 3 (6 oz.) package
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) pkg. marshmallows
    4 1/2 c. sugar
    1 (12 oz.) can Eagle Brand condensed milk
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Mix sugar, milk and butter in large pan.
    Bring to a boil. Boil 6 minutes (soft ball stage).
    Remove and add vanilla.
    Have chips, nuts and marshmallows in large bowl.
    Pour cooked ingredients over this and stir until well mixed.
    Pour into large buttered jelly roll pan.
    Let sit overnight or 12 hours.
    Cut and spread out to air and dry on wax paper.
    Makes a nice large holiday batch.
