Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. rice (uncooked old fashion rice, not instant)
1/2 pkg. dry onion soup
1 cut up fryer
1 1/2 cans water
1 can cream of mushroom soup or cream of chicken soup
Preparation

Place rice in buttered casserole dish.
Mix soups and water and pour over rice.
Arrange cut up fryer on top of rice.
Season chicken with salt and pepper lightly.
Bake, uncovered, in 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Serve with biscuits and stewed or fried apples.
