Sno-Ball Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
    4 Tbsp. cold water
    1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple
    3 envelopes Dram Whip
    1 can Angel Flake coconut
    1 large angel food cake
    maraschino cherries
    1 c. sugar
    juice of 1 lemon
    1 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in cold water.
    Add boiling water until dissolved.
    Add sugar, lemon juice, pineapple and juice.
    Chill until partly firm.
    Whip 2 envelopes of Dream Whip (as directed on package).
    Fold into gelatin mixture.
    Line large bowl with aluminum foil.
    Break cake into pieces; add layer for layer of angel food cake and gelatin mixture.
    Chill overnight.
    Remove from bowl by laying plate on top.
    Turn upside-down.
    Mix other package of Dream Whip and spread over cake.
    Put coconut all over the cake. Top with red or green maraschino cherries cut in half.
    May also use 9 x 13-inch pan.
