Rhubarb Crumb Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
    1 egg
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. buttermilk or 1 c. milk mixed with 1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 1/2 c. rhubarb, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Mix the first 9 ingredients and top with a mixture of the last 3 ingredients.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 60 minutes.
