Fudge Cake With Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. plain flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. Wesson oil
    1 box confectioners sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 c. water
    3 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 stick margarine
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 stick margarine
    6 Tbsp. buttermilk
    1 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation
    In oblong baking pan, mix flour and 2 cups sugar.
    Heat 1 stick
    margarine,
    water
    and
    oil until boiling.
    Pour over flour mixture.
    Mix well by hand.
    Dissolve soda in buttermilk and add to mixture. Add eggs and 1 teaspoon vanilla; mix well. Bake at 350\u00b0 for approximately 30 minutes;
    set aside.
