Green Beans Almondine - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. slivered or shaved almonds
4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 1/2 lb. fresh green beans, halved
1/3 c. water
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Combine almonds and butter in a 2-cup glass measure. Microwave, uncovered, at power level High for 4 to 6 minutes, or until almonds are lightly toasted.
Set aside.
