My Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 to 2 lb. stew beef
    4 carrots, cut
    4 potatoes, diced
    2 stalks celery
    1 whole onion, diced
    1 large can whole tomatoes
    1 small can tomato sauce
    1/4 c. ketchup
    salt and pepper
    dash of chili powder
    minced garlic
