Mary'S Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. brown sugar, packed
    1 c. butter Crisco
    5 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 2/3 c. all-purpose flour
    3/4 c. cocoa
    1 Tbsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/3 c. sour cream
    1 1/3 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Beat until fluffy.
    Add vanilla.
    Combine flour, cocoa, soda and salt. Add alternately with sour cream.
    Mix just until combined.
    Stir in water.
    Pour in 3 greased and floured 9-inch pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
