Boiled Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 c. milk, scalded
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine eggs, salt and sugar.
    Add milk and cook in double boiler until mixture coats the spoon.
    Add vanilla and chill.
