Roast Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

whole chicken
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
cut celery
fresh onions
washed whole potatoes
washed carrots
Preparation

Melt butter in small bowl, season with thyme, garlic and seasoned salt.
Brush on chicken.
Season body cavity with butter mixture.
Place in roasting pan.
Brown in 400\u00b0 oven for 30 to 45 minutes, uncovered.
Stuff body cavity with cut celery sticks and onions.
Add quartered potatoes and carrots to pan.
Add 1 to 2 cups of water.
Cover; roast in oven at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Remove chicken and vegetables.
Thicken broth for gravy.
