Hot Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. dry yeast
2 c. real warm (not hot) water
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. melted shortening (Crisco)
    2 eggs
    7 to 8 c. flour
Preparation
In a large bowl, dissolve dry yeast in warm water.
    Add sugar and salt.
    Beat and add shortening.
Then add eggs and mix well. Add flour, 2 cups at a time.
    I use 7 1/2 cups.
    Mix well.
I use mixer, up to 4 cups, then mix the rest with my hands.
    Do not knead.
Put into large, greased bowl and let rise, about 3 hours. I cover my bowl with a tea towel dampened with warm water.
It keeps the dough from getting dry on top.
