Crispy Cheese Sticks - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. shortening
1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
3/4 c. milk
paprika
Preparation

Combine flour, baking powder, shortening and salt until mealy. Stir in cheese and enough milk for a soft but not sticky dough. Turn dough onto a lightly floured board; knead.
Roll pieces of dough between palms to 1/2-inch in diameter and 4 inches long. Bake in an ungreased baking pan at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Sprinkle with paprika.
Cool and serve.
Yields 20 to 24 sticks.
